Duke Snider a former Dodger's Great Dies at 84
Duke Snider was a Hall of Fame Outfielder for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, and San Francisco Giants. Sadly, Duke Snider has passed away at 84 years old.
Snider hit .295 with 407 home runs and 1333 RBI in his 18 year career. Duke Snider hit 40+ home runs five straight years from 1953 to 1957. Snider was an 8 time all-star and finished 2nd in MVP voting in 1955.
Snider was a member of two Dodger's World Series Championships (1955 and 1959). In the 1955 World Series against the New York Yankees, Snider hit .320 with 4 home runs and 7 RBI in 7 games.
