AL Central Projections

1. Chicago White Sox 92-70- This is kind of a gut feeling. I think the White Sox have a decent staff and bullpen. I expect Gordon Beckham to have a bounce back season, and Adam Dunn to invigorate the team. In U.S. Cellular Field, Dunn could easily hit 45+ home runs. Paul Konerko will also supply power, while Juan Pierre gives speed.

2. Minnesota Twins 90-72- I don't think Brian Duensing and Carl Pavano will perform nearly as well as last year. Besides Fransisco Liriano, I do not trust the Twin's starting pitching.

3. Detroit Tigers 85-77- How will Miguel Cabrera perform? That will make the difference between .500 and wild card contention for me.

4. Kansas City Royals 62-100- I don't trust them in any way. The lost Zack Greinke, and their hitting is still terrible.

5. Cleveland Indians 60-102- Nothing much to like here.
